Ten things you need to know about getting a puppy from us:

  1. You need live close enough to drive to get a puppy or are willing to fly to get a puppy. We don't ship puppies. We are in Colorado Springs, Colo.
  2. You need to fill out our questionniare in order to be considered. Click here! You can send this as an e-mail attachment or copy/paste it into your e-mail. CLICK HERE to download the questionnaire.
  3. We keep a list of interested parties. Generally the list is not a guarantee we will have the gender/temperament/pup for specific purpose you're looking for. Our puppies are available to show homes, as personal hunting companions or as family pets.
  4. Per the Weimaraner Club of America code of ethics, we are required to educate you about how early spay/neuter may not be healthful for your Weimaraner. We know it's a sensitive subject so be prepared to have a conversation.
  5. Puppies on full registration always come with a co-ownership. If you don't want to compete, your puppy comes with a limited registration and a spay/neuter agreement. Please be clear about your intentions. A percentage of each litter we have goes to pet homes so people have access to a well-bred dog.
  6. We are selective about where our dogs are placed. Weimaraners, or any dog for that matter, should not be an impulse purchase.
  7. Our contract includes a health guarantee and outlines owner and seller expectations.
  8. We always take our dogs back if you can no longer care for them. This is also in our contract.
  9. Amy accepts red wine or scotch as a bribe. (kidding...sort of...)
  10. You're welcome to come hang out at our place by appointment, but if you stay more than two hours you'll be handed a pooper-scooper or a mop and be ordered to work! :)

ADULT DOGS AVAILABLE

Occasionally we will have adult dogs available to pet homes for various reasons.

  • They were kept for show, but didn't turn out as expected.
  • They do not do well in an environment with a lot of other dogs in the house.
  • We finished their championship and want them to live where they can be an exercise buddy, hunting companion or couch potato.
As much as we love our dogs, it is difficult to let them go. They will always be part of our family and new owners will need to understand we like to stay in touch.

Dogs made available as pets and are spayed or neutered when they leave here. They come with a short contract requiring the dog return to us if the owner can no longer take care of the dog.

Available: We have a 2-year-old male available. He is lovable and high energy! We will post more information on him shortly.
